Founder Charley Friedman developed Flowfold’s first product while he was working a summer job at a sail loft in Yarmouth, Maine. At the time, his grandfather’s beloved leather wallet fell apart, and Charley quickly whipped up a new one using scraps of sailcloth from the factory trash. Incredibly lightweight and durable, the first wallet (Flowfold product) was born just like that. And they haven’t looked back. Their impact on the environment is always on their mind, and in 2016 alone, 40% of the material used to make they goods was reclaimed. Acting as a resourceful and responsible business, Flowfold also manufactures all of their gear in the good ol' US of A, with a lifetime warranty for every item! We’ve been rocking their wallets for years (which are still going strong), and recently tested some of their totes and shirts; A++ all around!
